Happy Yuletide! In this vlog, I reflect on what is more important in life: success or happiness? The answer, of course, seems very obvious when you phrase the question like that. But when you’re actually in the thick of things, making decisions both large and small, it isn’t always clear what the next right choice is.
This video feels a little heavy, but I want to show you all of the moods in which I create: the super inspired, borderline manic moods; the slow, calm, cozy moods; and the melancholy moods too.
Something I am happy about is this: two days ago, V: The Solar Queen reached 100,036 words. I achieved my goal! I hit 100k before Yule! Hooray!
This week, I am tying up the loose ends of other projects (such as this vlog). Then I will take next week off of creating entirely. I do this once per season, to refill the well. I see myself reading, playing video games, and sipping warm drinks.
After my rest, I will return to V: The Solar Queen, hopefully with ample amounts of energy and inspiration!
